Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi is the sequel to Zero no Tsukaima. First it was 13 episodes long which everyone hated about it but now the sequel is out and pretty much continues where the first one left off. Except the sequel is 1 episode shorter than the first one so it is a bit disappointing but hey, you got a sequel so its like a 25 episode anime. There really isn’t much to say about the sequel, there are new characters, new opening, new ending. If you seen the first one, you pretty know what everything will be like in the sequel. Beyond this sentence is spoiler to the first one. Read at your own discretion. Saito stays in the magical world and Louise kisses him to “renew” the contract of him being her familiar. Yeah she just wanted to kiss him ha ha. The ending to ZnT was by far the best. Ever watch an anime and you think the ending you think its going to happen but doesn’t happen and you get disappointed and wish it did happen? Well, ZnT gave me the ending I wanted. A bit cliché or lame to some people but I liked it.

In ZnT: Futatshiki no Kishi, Saito and Louise still attend the magic academy, Louise still blowing stuff up and Saito still being a perverted dog. I’m a little disappointed with the sequel in some ways. It wasn’t as funny and interesting as the first one. First one was short but great. Sequel is shorter and crappier. It is still worth the watch though so don’t cross it off your anime watch list. So the new characters you see is a squad that Princess Henrietta created called the Gun Powder Squad. Basically, its an all girl squad who carry swords and guns. Anies is the squad leader and rumor has it is that she likes girls, wonder why all girl squad now eh? In one episode in the search for Henrietta, to avoid being discovered, Anies and Louise did a little kissing, it was pretty hot. The voice actor for Anies is Neya Michiko (Melissa Mao - Full Metal Panic!), she is so damn funny at voice acting. Anies even short of reminded me of Melissa Mao in some ways.

Plot Summary: This sequel is a continuation of the previous season, not long after the war. Louise and Saito seemingly getting along now since she knows that he had given up his only chance to return to Tokyo for her. The story continues as Louise begins to use Void Magic from a mysterious secret book she had recieved from her majesty Henrietta, while a new villain has appeared in town causing trouble.

OP is great, really awesome. Just like almost everyone by ICHIKO. I liked the OP she did for ZnT and Futatsuki no Kishi. But I’m disappointed by the ED just like the first one by Kugimiya Rie. Her voice I like when doing character voices but when it comes to singing… She is OK at singing but it’s not something I would listen or put on my iPod and listen everyday. Sorry Kugimiya!
