Summary:
School Festival! School festival is starting and Patty has an idea that she would like to do for the opening ceremony. You guessed it, its the full dance to 「もってけ!セーラーふく」 (Motteke! Sailor Fuku). Patty couldn’t get enough dancers so she asks Kona for some help. Kona manages to recruit Tsukasa, Kagami and Miyuki but when they went to meet with Patty to get some info about it, Patty had no clue what song they were gonna do or how they would dance to it.

Later, Patty shows the gang the video to the dance and the song. Everyone thought it would be crazy hard but they didn’t mind. Kona, Tsukasa, and Miyuki’s class are running a fortune telling thing while Kagami’s class is doing a haunted house (how classic). Patty tells Kona that Akira (wow she made an appearance) that she is going to be on stage for mic check. Everyone went and then they got changed into their cheer leading outfit and got ready for the dance. It was only a rehearsal but they did good.

Review:
Alright, I’ll admit that when I first watched this series I was completely shocked by how bad this was. I mean first episode was OK it wasn’t super bad but it wasn’t great. They talked a lot of junk that I couldn’t even understand to laugh at. This is probably those anime only an otaku could understand for most jokes they make. I could make some out but mostly I couldn’t since they bleep half of what they say most of the time. But seeing more of it later on it got better, still couldn’t understand most of the jokes they say though.

Characters was another problem I find for this anime. Well, you have four main characters, Kona, Tsukasa, Kagami and Miyuki. Then you got a bunch of supporting characters like Misao, Hiyori, Minami, Yutaka, Yui, etc. The problem is that half of the series you don’t even see any of these supporting characters its lame. Then when you do see them more often, the series is already about to end so you barely get to even know the characters. I really wished Misao was shown more because is so cute and so funny. “3 second rule” lol. They really should of shown all of the characters in the first episode until the end like what most anime does.

Other than not being able to understand the jokes and not enough characters being shown from the start, the art style for this anime is rather interesting. They aren’t chibi but they look a bit chibi so it kind of confusing. Let’s just say that its not the type of character art style like Kanon 2006 or AIR TV. It looks cute, especially the way they did some expression for some characters it makes it really cool. I still would of wished that they drawn it more… I don’t know the word but you know what I’m talking about.

Graphics: Unique looking art style. Not a bad choice but wished it would of been a Kanon 2006 type character art style.

Story: Not much to tell in the story.  Just ten girls having the time of their lives during their time at school or anime conventions.  Similar to Azumanga Daioh, just another slice of life anime.

Music: OP is great but if you don’t watch this series and don’t know what the song is from, it may drive you insane.  Just the voice of Hirano Aya doing that weird voice can drive me insane.  BGM sounds alright, matches the mood for most part.

Result: 3.5/5 for its lack of character development.  I hated how I didn’t get to see Misao at all that much except for the about one minute in 6 episodes.  Jokes tend to be a bit too hard to understand unless you probably got a good translator’s note or know a lot about Japan culture by Japanese culture I mean Otaku culture.  Other than that I could understand some jokes and like the unique approach to the art style.
