Fall 2007 Reminder

This is just a reminder also an update to the list a bit. At the beginning of October (week 1), a few anime will be starting so just as a reminder, look through the list and hope it will remind you of whats to come. Week 1 of October marks a great time for anime. Well, look through the list below and see what catches your eye. If you don’t like what you see or want to see whats more, please check MOON PHASE for entire listing of anime and air time, check AndrewLB’s Fall 2007 wiki for which fansub is subbing what. These are the only one I am currently interested and hopefully you guys will be watching these ones too.

Check Anime List for what I plan to do with each anime and how long I plan to stay with each. If you find a series listed here but not in the Anime List Page, it most likely means I have no plans of blogging it so don’t expect it on this blog but I will definitely watch it.

Confirmed dates are put on each one so don’t worry. If you are still unsure about it, check MOON PHASE for the listings.

Guilty Gear 2: Overture

Got a 360 but want to play Guilty Gear? Well, at TGS, Guilty Gear 2: Overture trailer was shown and features some interesting gameplay. The best thing is, its coming for the 360! They have changed from their 2D style to a 3D style. I wouldn’t say they totally ruined the game by doing this but it seems like you will be playing the game like Dynasty Warriors. You have body guards, kill a bunch of NPC enemies and eventually, you’ll meet up with a Guilty Gear 2 main character such as Valentine (shown above). Sol Badguy is still in this one so is Ky Kiske. I’m not sure about the others like Bridget, Millia, Johnny, etc.

Wikipedia gives off the current list of characters for this new Guilty Gear and it includes:

  • Sol
  • Ky Kiske
  • Sin
  • Valentine
  • Dr. Paradigm
  • Izuna

This seems to be a Xbox 360 exclusive right now, maybe Sony will get it too but for now, it only lists Xbox 360 having this title.

Gunslinger Girl Second Season Announced

Finally, the second season for the ever so wonderful anime, Gunslinger Girl is going to be made. I know for a fact that the manga is longer than the 13 episode first season since, the manga is still being serialized in Dengeki Daioh. I believe the anime ended somewhere between volume 2 of the manga where all the girls started to sing that Beethoven song while stargazing. The ending did seem kind of weak and being only 13 episodes it just made it weaker, it made me wanna vomit! Nevertheless, it was a pretty cool anime and finally a second season is going to be coming out.

BLEACH: The DiamondDust Rebellion

The second BLEACH movie will be premiering in Japan on December 22. The new movie’s story will be around Hitsugaya. I can’t wait for this one, seeing as how well the first movie did 「Memories of Nobody」, I think the second one will do really well. If only Senna was in this one, I really like Senna and wished she could of been a permanent character in the anime but that isn’t going to happen so thats kind of gay.

Plot Summary: A valuable artifact known as “King’s Seal” is stolen by a mysterious group of people during transport in Soul Society. Hitsugaya Toushiro, the 10th division captain of Gotei 13, who is assigned to transport the seal fights the leader of the group and shortly after goes missing. After the incident, Seireitei declares Hitsugaya a traitor and orders the capture and execution of Hitsugaya. Kurosaki Ichigo refuses to believe this, and along with Matsumoto Rangiku, Kuchiki Rukia and Abarai Renji swear to uncover the real mastermind of the stolen seal, find Hitsugaya and clear his name. Meanwhile, a rogue Hitsugaya searches for the perpetrators and uncovers a dark secret regarding a long dead shinigami.

For people who hasn’t found out yet, DB (Dattebayo) has subbed Memories of Nobody and can be found on Tokyo Toshokan. The quality is DVD or just about any anime you watch lately so its not like before where its super low quality cam corded.

I’ve been doing kendo since July and I recently just bought the latest issue of Newtype. The whole thing was in Japanese so I can’t understand some of the stuff I read but when I saw this picture of 5 girls in kendogi and bogu this anime immediately caught my attention. Well there is a high chance of me sticking with this series since I love kendo and this anime is about kendo so lets see how this anime does for me and hope I will have previews for this series on my blog.

Odds of me sticking with this series: Guaranteed
Blogging Plans: Previews/Review

Update: Previews & Reviews

Seeing as how I haven’t written anything for the past 12 days I suppose I’ll give you the readers a little heads up of whats to come.

Alright, first off, Lucky Star is nearing its end of its 24 episode run. Scenes from the final episode will be used in the review so be prepared to expect some spoilers from the images. Review for ARIA The OVA ~ARIETTA~ will be delayed due to the fact that I haven’t really been watching ARIA The NATURAL. So don’t worry about not seeing a review of ARIA The OVA for a short while.

Now for Previews. Preview for episode 9 of Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi has been canceled. I apologize for this but I forgot that it was episode 9 I was suppose to preview so I kind of messed up there. Since episode 10 is coming out sometime this week, I will be doing a preview using that episode. Remember to check the date and episode for previews in Anime List (Fall 2007). Rental Magica, Sketchbook ~full color’s~, CLANNAD, and ef – A Tale of Memories will not be airing until sometime in October so no preview of those will be showing yet. If any trailers have been uploaded onto Tokyo Toshokan for any of these series, I will download them and write a little preview of it.

That is all for the update, here is a little table of what is said above to make it a little easier:
